Wicked to Stream “Defying Gravity” on TikTok

Viewers from all around the world will be able to violate gravity! To celebrate the return of Broadway, the Broadway hit Wicked today announced an official collaboration with TikTok.
Wicked will go live on TikTok on Tuesday, October 12 at 8 p.m. EST as the Grand Finale of TikTok’s Broadway is Back campaign, with “Defying Gravity” shot live at all three presently running productions – Broadway, London, and the U.S. National Wicked Tour. Backstage at Wicked Live, there will be a Q&A session with cast members. This will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for fans to see what goes on behind the scenes and onstage.

Wicked’s official TikTok debuted in late September, and since then, the show’s material has been watched over 3 million times. To be informed when the broadcast starts, follow Wicked on TikTok.

When Wicked musical began performances at the Gershwin Theatre on September 14, it was met with excitement throughout Oz. The current cast stars Lindsay Pearce as Elphaba, Ginna Claire Mason as Glinda, Alexandra Billings as Madame Morrible, Michael McCormick as The Wizard, Sam Gravitte as Fiyero, Mili Diaz as Nessarose, Riley Costello as Boq, and Michael X. Martin as Doctor Dillamond with standbys Jennifer DiNoia (Elphaba) and Brittney Johnson (Glinda).
