What’s Behind the Curtain? Wicked Returns to the Stage

After a COVID-induced quarantine in the Land of Oz, Wicked is officially set to become the first major musical production to begin touring again. Unfortunately, this witch’s tale will have to start some distance from Broadway, due to capacity restrictions that will continue well into September. Instead, the production will have its’ triumphant return in Dallas, Texas on August 3rd, at the Music Hall at Fair Park.

Wicked is based on a novel by Gregory Macquire, and boasts lyrics and compositions from Stephen Schwartz, direction from Tony Award winner Joe Mantello, and Staging by Tony Award winner Wayne Cilento. Though casting information and other details are yet to be provided, tickets will go on sale as early as Friday, May  21st. Dates will continue throughout the South, Midwest and East Coast up through 2022.
