The Musical Wicked is Made into a Movie

Lots of fans across the world must have read the title of the article one more time. Yes! You got it right! The Wicked movie is a real plan that is being materialized just now.

A couple of years of anticipation and “The Wicked” will have a box-office success once again.

According to the Universal Pictures, the holder of Tony Awards will hit big screens on December 20, 2019. The story happening in the land of Oz revolves around two witches Elphaba and Glinda.

There is not a single word concerning cast selection though people hope that Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel will get the roles of Glinda and Elphaba respectively. The hit “For Good” in the musical “The Wicked” brought them fame and recognition far beyond the borders of the USA.

The paparazzi of E!News inquired Chenoweth whether the duo is expected to be seen in a cinematographic piece-to-be of “The Wicked”. This is what she answered: “I am not going to say. It’s a secret”. It might imply a positive answer, isn’t it?
