Sheryl Lee Ralph as Madame Morrible is about to present her Musical Benefit. The event will take place on 30 July at 7 p.m. in the Metropolitan Room. She is back on the stage to give her respect to HIV/AIDS community. The Diva Foundation has been helping people for 28 years in the fight for life.

Thanks to it, the level of human awareness about AIDS has been significantly increased. Lots of lives have been prevented from this dangerous illness. The word “positive” sounds like a death sentence for our unawareness.

The concert is already marked as the longest Musical Benefit within the USA. The role of Ralph as Madame Morrible in the musical “Wicked” will be evaluated one more time by people who got encouraged to donate money.

Apart from it, Mrs. Ralph is currently busy working on the role of “Mame Dennis”. Broadway Season in 2018-2019 is bringing to life the iconic role from 1966.
It seems like this woman never gets tired. Acclaim accompanies her whatever she gets down to do: writing, directing or playing. Sheryl Lee Ralph got the title of Miss Black Teen-Age New York in 1973. A bit later, a greater success waited for her. The musical “Dreamgirls” reached the sky-high popularity what resulted in a Tony Award and Drama Desk Award Nominations as Best Actress. Another her winning musical, “Thoroughly Modern Millie” featured a well-known singer Muzzy Van Hossmere.

For the time being, she portrays Madame Morrible in a new light. This role in “Wicked” has been praised by audience and strict critics as well.
